Fathers' Day card for a gardener

These two cards were designed using photos that I took At Ryton organic garden and Benningborough Hall. The front and back photos were taken in the ornamental vegetable garden in 2004 so no doubt the garden has undergone many changes since then.

The inside photo of the ancient lawn mowers was taken at Benningborough.

The greetings at the front of the card can all be removed and your own greeting added so you can use the designs for any occasion. Some greetings would also suit a birthday card for your dad.

Fathers' Day Cards for the steam enthusiast

If your dad is 'into' steam, then here are a couple of cards that he may enjoy. The greetings at the front of the card can all be removed and your own greeting added so you can use the designs for any occasion. Some greetings would also suit a birthday card for your dad.

The first is based on a photo taken at Goathland station in North Yorkshire. Goathland was the location for the TV series Heartbeat and so also doubles as Aidensfield.

The second photo was one that I found in my husband's photo collection and was taken of a traction engine at a steam rally in 1969. It wasn't actually a sepia photo but the addition of a sepia tuint seemed appropriate.

Fathers' Day Canal Designs

These two cards were designed using photographs that I took when walking along a couple of canals. The greetings at the front of the card can all be removed and your own greeting added so you can use the designs for any occasion. Some greetings would also suit a birthday card for your dad.

The first one is taken of a fairly local (to me) canal near the RSPB reserves at Fairburn Ings.

The second was by the canal at Tiverton where you can enjoy a horse drwan canal trip.

Fathers' Day card - first lot

The subjects for the first lot of Fathers' Day cards are photos all taken when we had a day out in Whitby. The greetings at the front of the card can all be removed and your own greeting added so you can use the designs for any occasion. Some greetings would also suit a birthday card for your dad.

The first one is taken looking across the harbour to the lighthouse.

The next card is based on a photo of 'The Grand Turk'- a replica eighteenth century frigate. This is quite a star as it is used in films and TV.

The third card is based on photos of a steam tram located again alongside Whitby harbour. Tram rides could be taken around Whitby.
